Wizbang posted Playboy photos (NSFW) of Teri Polo from Meet the Fockers and that caused Michelle at A Small Victory to ask what it is that men really want... "Do you honestly like a woman who looks like she hasn't eaten since the
last time the Mets won the world series? Is a woman whose protruding
rib cage could conceivably pierce you during sex hot? Would you prefer
a woman with a D cup and few pounds on her or an A cup with a child's
waistline? Would you date a woman who is over a size 7? Over a size
ten? Do you hold yourself to the same standards of physical perfection
that you do the women you choose to date/pick up/marry?"
Acidman weighs in with his thoughts. Here's mine:
Michelle asked some tough questions, but I think the answer is that most men aren't too picky when it comes to the situations that she asks about. In the right time and place most men would say yes to all of those questions (excluding the last one of course). I've known guys who had the hots for virtually every variation of female body type that exists. I remember being fascinated by a friend of mine's total lust for Meryl Streep. I just couldn't see what he did.
And while I'm not too picky either, that doesn't mean I don't have preferences. I personally don't care for the rail thin look but neither do I go for the full-figured types. I guess I'm somewhere in between. I think hair and eyes normally attract me before anything else, followed by a nice pair of shapely legs. I find Rachel Ray on the Food Network very attractive and that starts with her hair and eyes. Her body appears to be on the plus size of the scale but that doesn't detract from her at all for me. I do like a small waist because it seems to set up the bosom and butt more. I've never been one to go ga-ga over a big set of boobs or a nice butt although I appreciate both. A full set of lips are nice too. Like Acidman, I think feet can be sexy too (speaking of which, Bee at Angle of Vision has a hilarious post). I've noticed in my later years that I find younger women less and less attractive. I much prefer 40+. Finally, I just can't get too interested in a woman that isn't interesting to me. I know that's a cliche but I can get fascinated by what makes people be themselves. A woman without some depth in that respect loses my interest no matter how she looks, although I have to admit that the absolute beauty of some women could easily overcome that. But to answer Michelle's bottom line question about the rail thin look and its attractiveness to men, it's a definite no for me.

I am preferential to a Kate Winslett shape myself.

I told ya, I'm bad, bad to the bone. The pleasure a woman gets out of giving her guy a jolt, of getting him riled up, fills a woman up with glee.
It's all part of the dance of love, don't ya think?
