I picked up my new Tennessee license plates on Saturday for my Tacoma. I like the new design. It's a simple design but reflective of the state. And it's a surprise for me but it's the first time I have ever seen a bar code on a license plate for any state. I haven't heard any publicity about that. You can see a sample plate here.
I thought Islam was a religion of peace. Where are these people are when hostages are being beheaded in Iraq? They can go crazy over a cartoon but not a beheading?
It looks like Tommy Devito is at it again. Where's Jimmy Conway when you need him?
Finally, an update on my previous post about converting from satellite to digital cable. The first Charter service call was a bust as the service technician failed to call my work number in advance although he showed at the house and left a note that he had been there. Charter acknowledged that failure when I called them. They rescheduled for a time three days later. That appointment was also a bust only this time they didn't call and didn't leave a note either. I called Charter and pointed out that I was trying hard to give them new business but it appeared to me that business wasn't too important to them. The latest schedule is for tomorrow morning. Let's just say I'm not holding my breath. If they flunk this one and I think the odds are fifty-fifty at best I'm going to have rethink my decision.
