DONGWON AND WHO DAT

From your intrepid business reporter:  Del Monte seafood unit being sold to Dongwon.

I'm sorry but I just don't like that headline.  I eat canned tuna about once a month and it's usually Star-Kist brand.  Do I really want to eat something from a company with the name Dongwon?  I don't think so.  That name conjures up some associations that I just don't want to think about.  I'll leave it at that.

And I find this photo totally shocking.  It makes me feel really old.  I mean really, really old.  The first reader who identifies the gentleman in the photo via comments gets a big atta boy (or atta girl).  I don't believe anyone will guess who he is but we'll see...

He's definitely not "Still the Same," but I hope he gets back "On the Road Again," since "Rock and Roll Never Forgets."

He's still the same... he still aims hi-i-igh...

Yeah, I know Craig gets the prize. Rightfully so.

Been reading Alice Cooper's "Golf Monster." There's a great chapter on the band's early relocation to the Motor City, hanging out with Iggy (Stooge) Pop, the MC5, Seger, and early Grand Funk Railroad. Those must have been some interesting times.

I won't say he looks old unless he has a gut, but if he's fat or flabby then I'll turn the page.
