I went 2-3 last week. Maybe that was me just subconsciously getting aligned with the Vols who sucked mightily yet again. They sucked and I sucked. All's right in the world of college football. Anyway I'm now 16-9 for the year. The picks:
Tennessee 23, Northern Illinois 21--The previous week I said the that the Vols played the worst game I had ever seen them play in Neyland Stadium. Last week they topped that with the worst offensive performance I've ever seen by a Vol team. So what's next? How about a loss to Northern Illinois? That's a distinct possibility but I'm going with the Vols because it's bizarro world in Knoxville this year.
Missouri 37, Nebraska 24--The Tigers haven't won in Lincoln in thirty years. Is this the year? You bet it is. Bo's Huskers are looking better but they're not up to Missouri's level yet. But Missouri shouldn't get cocky. Most likely they're going to get the Sooners in the Big 12 Championship Game.
Ohio State 27, Wisconsin 23--The Badgers remind me of Clemson. Every year they look promising and then promptly lay an egg somewhere along the line. They laid their first one last week after failing to hold the lead against Michigan. After this game they can start making omelets.
Oklahoma 33, Baylor 13--So you think this one is too easy to pick? You're right. But I went 2-3 last week. I need a slam dunk pick and this game is it.
Southern Cal 33, Oregon 17--Lose two weeks in a row to Oregon teams. I don't think so. The only way that's going to happen is if the Trojans get sick from those ugly-ass Oregon uniforms. This one ain't close. T
