The wheels went off the track big time last week. I had the worst week of the year when I went 1-4. That's what I get for picking against my Titans though. They're off this week so maybe I can recover from that disaster of a week. I'm now 14-11 for the year in the pro picks. Here's my picks for this week:
Colts 20, Ravens 16--This is the game of the week. Colts have struggled but may have gained some confidence with the big comeback against the Texans last week. It will be a defensive struggle but I think the Colts pull it out.
Panthers 27, Buccaneers 20--Panthers defense is tough enough to carry them to a win on the Buccaneer's home field. And I like the Panther's running attack.
Cowboys 33, Cardinals 24--Which Cowboys team shows up in Phoenix? The one who looked terrible against the Redskins or the one who demolished everyone else? I think the offense gets it going and whips up on the desert Cardinals.
Chargers 30, Patriots 27--This is going to be the Chargers payback game for so many straight losses to the Pats. Chargers are a puzzling team with lots of talent but suspect coaching. I think they finally get it together for this game at home.
Saints 33, Raiders 20--Raiders respond well to their new coach if for no other reason than the drama is temporarily over. Unfortunately Saints are at home and couldn't care less about the Raiders problems.
